The spectrum of the devices ranges from the price-optimized Touch Panel TP 177A with 6inch blue-scale display for SIMATIC S7 PLCs to the PROFINET-enabled 6 inch color TP/OP 177B DP/PN devices
As form factor, you can choose among the especially compact TP 177B 4 inch widescreen, the TP 177A which can also be installed in portrait (upright) orientation and the traditional 6 inch Touch Panel TP 177B or the Operator Panel OP 177B with combined touch and key operation. For every operating philosophy, the right device can be found within the 170 series.
Siemens offers innovated successors for all of the series 170 Panels, you can choose among 4" to 7" panels from the families of Basic or Comfort Panels operated by touch screen or keyboard or a combination of both.
Area of application
HMI device for standard HMI tasks; for the use in PROFIBUS DP networks (both device models) or in PROFINET environments (color model only). The functionality and available quantity structures seamlessly cover the lower performance range for the operation and monitoring of machines and plants.
